World Platforms Inc. is pleased to welcome Teri Thom to the Advisory Board
Ms. Thom is the lead artist and Creative Director for World Platforms; she is also the President and Co Founder of Krabbitsoft Studios. Ms. Thom is the creative brainpower behind the KrabbitWorld Labyrinth characters and style. She has been drawing since the tender age of four and successfully ran her own Graphic Design business previous to working with World Platforms.
Ms. Thom has over 25 years experience working in Fine Art & Graphic Design. As a teenager Ms. Thom began her career as a commissioned portrait/character/fantasy artist until she was in her early twenties. Ms. Thom attended Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design, Vancouver School of Art studying painting and sculpture, Kootenay School of Art and Burnaby College. She is self taught in Lightwave 3D and the 3D Game Editor. She was recruited to serve on the British Columbia Institute of Technology’s Advisory Committee for two years where she helped in student selection. She also served regularly as a Panel Judge on business plan presentations, and delivered presentations to graduating students and small business owners.
Over the years Ms. Thom has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and is well versed in all aspects of “Artistry” from painting and sculpture to custom picture framing to specializing in digital imaging and graphic design to now as a seasoned 3D game artist.
